Cozen O'Connor

Jonathon is a Partner and Co-Chair of the Aviation Practice at Cozen O'Connor, where he counsels clients on a wide range of aviation regulatory and commercial matters. As part of his practice, Jonathon represents U.S. and non-U.S. airlines as well as trade associations before federal aviation regulatory agencies, including the U.S. Department of Transportation, the Federal Aviation Administration, the Transportation Security Administration, and U.S. Customs and Border Protection. Jonathon also acts for respondents in governmental investigations and enforcement and civil penalty proceedings involving alleged violations of various federal aviation-related statutes and regulations.
Jonathon has consistently been ranked as a leading aviation attorney in peer-review publications, including Chambers USA, Who’s Who Legal, and Expert Guides. He serves on the adjunct faculty at Georgetown University Law Center, where he teaches Aviation Law, and is the Immediate Past Editor-in-Chief for the American Bar Association's Air & Space Lawyer, a position he held for four years.
Jonathon earned his bachelor’s degree, cum laude, from American University and his law degree from Northeastern University School of Law.
