Diego Olmedo de Cáceres is the co-founder of PionAirLaw, a Madrid-based aviation law firm specialised in defending airlines. With over 15 years of experience previously honed at leading UK firms, he has handled some of the most complex air accident cases of recent times, including Spanair JK5022, Germanwings 4U9525 and the A400M MSN023. At PionAirLaw, he has defended over 30,000 passenger claims and recently represented an airline before the European Court of Justice in C-218/24. He is President of the Legal Committee of Spain's Airline Association (ALA).
