Giselle Deiro

Giselle is a Consultant in HFW's London Aerospace team, specialising in civil liability and aviation insurance.
She has 15 years of experience acting in aviation-related cases across most jurisdictions in Latin America and the Caribbean, representing airlines, general aviation operators, airport operators, ground handling companies, air traffic control and government entities in a wide range of civil liability matters. Giselle also has experience in coverage disputes, working closely with local insurers and international reinsurers.

Beyond her practice, Giselle publishes articles in peer-reviewed journals and books and lectures on aviation law and insurance. She has been a guest lecturer at the International Institute of Aviation and Space Law at Leiden University and is a certified instructor for the International Air Transport Association (IATA). Giselle holds an LL.M. in Advanced Studies in Air and Space Law from Leiden University and a law degree from Universidad Nacional de Asunción, both with honours.
