Dawn Kimmich serves as a Managing Director, Associate General Counsel for Ethics & Compliance at Delta Air Lines, Inc. She is responsible for building the Delta Ethics and Compliance programs, particularly in the areas of Anti-Bribery, Antitrust, Trade Sanctions & Restrictions, Import and Export Controls, Government Contracting, Anti-Money Laundering, and Human Rights. Dawn provides advice on Delta code of ethics questions, participates in Delta’s Enterprise Risk Management process, and organizes Delta’s Risk Council. Prior to Delta, she was an Attorney at UPS, mostly in Europe. Dawn began her career with UPS in Brussels, Belgium in 2000 in the UPS EMEA Region Legal Department. Her legal, compliance, and privacy roles in Brussels for 16 years covered Western, Central and Eastern Europe, Middle East, India, Africa, Asia-Pacific, and Latin America. She supported the business with legal advice on all matters of contracts, labor & employment, data protection, M&A (pre-acquisition diligence and implementation, share purchase negotiations, and integration), antitrust, anti-corruption, conflicts of interest, IP, trade restrictions, customs brokerage, international trade, litigation (with former employees, vendors, and customers), real estate, internal investigations, and corporate structures and divestitures. Dawn graduated from the University of Georgia (1994), and from Georgia State University College of Law (1999). Dawn speaks French and German, and lives in Atlanta with her family.
